I love the Appalachian Trail. I don't know if I'll through-hike it, but I love every mile that I've been on so far. This weekend, I trekked 20 miles near Pearisburg, Virginia. Here's my weekend in pictures...

wow. i love the rocky mtns, but man. those appalachians are beautiful. glad you were able to get out and enjoy the fall.
did you go north from pearisburg? looks beautiful. i miss the foggy mornings.we did the 50 mies south of pearisburg once.
So many wonderful memories on the trail. Especially the morning I awoke to your voice asking about "dirt diva and compass rose". Thanks for sharing moments on the trail! You rock.
